Qantas L1049E (upgraded to L1049G specs) Super Constellation VH-EAF Southern Wind at Perth, Western Australia, April 1963, prior to flying to Johannesberg, South Africa This was one of the last Super Connie passenger flights made by Qantas. 10 days after this photo was taken VH-EAF was traded to Boeing as part payment for a new B707.
