#Qtalk with TERENCE I am a 33 year old woman from Choma, happily married with my husband for 4 years until recently. I dont know what angle people will use to help me but Id really appreciate any sympathizers out there. A couple of weeks ago i wanted to use my husbands phone to make a call. After i made the call, i dont know what came over me. I have never been the type not to trust my husband and snoop around trying to catch him on some act. But this day some deep feeling of jealousy and insecurity engulfed me and i went through my husbands messages and Dear Lord nothing could prepare me for what i found. Dont get it wrong, my husband is a good man. He is not being unfaithful or sleeping around with other women, and i thank God for that...but i discovered he is hiding a very BIG secret from me: He has a child from a previous relationship that he is fully supporting, without my consent. I found an exchange of messages ranging from months ago from a strange number that was not saved. In these messages my husband would make arrangements with another woman of how to meet, or how to deposit money, asking how his baby is doing and the like. I am so heart broken! How could he keep this type of heavy information from me? I feel like i dont even know the man i married some four years ago anymore. I inquired with him about this and he just played it down, actually getting very upset to say i should not have gone through his phone. Can you imagine, even his family are pointing fingers at me. Imagine my in-laws themselves told me i should trust my husband at all times and should never go through a mans phone. They told me i deserve what ever is coming to me and that i should learn from it. Honestly speaking is this fair?? Dont i deserve to know whats going on in my husbands life especially information as big as this? Am i a bad wife? Should i be jealous or supportive?? It is not easy. PLEASE HELP!
