It is essential the successful applicants will have: Ability to work from detailed engineering drawings Flux core Wire Experience Be reliable and have a solid work history The ability to work independently as well as in a team environment A keen and self motivated attitude Own reliable transport Based on the Gladstone Marina, Central Queensland, MIPEC Pty Ltd (MIPEC) is a young and dynamic company providing services of marine logistical support, fabrication, repair and maintenance services to port terminal operators as well as the shipping, mining and LNG industries in the Gladstone and Central Queensland region. MIPEC have a strong background in the fabrication, marine and shipping industry and pride ourselves on delivering the desired results whilst meeting all regulatory, industry and community expectations toward health, safety and the environment. Due to an increasing work load, a position has become available for a suitably qualified and experienced boilermaker to fill this role, providing support services to our fabrication, marine contracting and project teams. This position requires a multi skilled and flexible individual with a strong industrial background, able to respond to a changing work demands with the ability to work independently as well as in a team environment. It is essential that the successful candidate is trade qualified with flux core wire experience for this position, while any other industry related tickets would also be highly regarded. This is a casual/ permanent position on a minimum 38 hour week on above award rates with overtime readily available.
