Quality Engineer at Luton Manufacturing Site Benefits at BWI Group • Salary £30,000 to £40,000 [depending on skills and experience] • Pension, through Zurich: Company will pay double employee contribution, up to 10%. Although employee may contribute more. • Year one: 25 days holiday pro-rata and Bank Holidays. Years Two-Five: 27 days holiday and Bank Holidays. Five years +: 29 days holiday and Bank Holidays • Vacation bonus – 9 day’s pay [pro-rata’d] and 9.67 days after 5 years • Xmas Bonus – After one year, up to 7 days’ pay [over 1 year = 3 days, after 3 years = 4 days, after 4 years = 5 days, after 5 years = 6 days, after 10 years = 7 days] Hours of work 38 hour week Typical: 7-30-4.30, Monday to Thursday and 8am - 2pm on Friday [these are typical working hours, and will depend on the successful individual’s and Quality Team’s needs, which would be discussed as part of the appointment process]. Being a manufacturing company and “just in time” compliant there is a Summer shutdown for 2 weeks [there are also other shorter shut-down periods, meaning around 14 days set holiday per year].
