Quarterbacks...if you are looking to develop into what I call a #PowerPasser, this is an awesome drill to incorporate into your training program (inseason and/or offseason). This is a variation of the previous video featuring the stationary ROTATIONAL MED BALL SLAM...this time I added a 5 step drop with a hitch. It allows you to simulate a drop with a hitch and throw timing in addition to the throwing progression by using your entire body to generate maximum power in efforts to drive the ball THROUGH the desired target. As you can see...as the hips lead, I am also generating power with my upper half by back loading (coiling effect). But as soon as my front foot makes ground contact (2-3 inches left of the target alley), I unload and explosively rotate (un-coil) THROUGH the target.
