I April I went to Seatttle, Wasghington to the Impact Event that Empower network was having there. At this event, I had the opportunity to be involvede in the creation of a product called The Top Producrer Formula. The VIP guests were handed a worksheet apon entering the room and here is on of the topics that was discussed that weekend. Quick Question: Have you ever been asked, or have you ever done a webinar or a live hangout before and were not qutie sure how to pull it off? Well worry no more. Here is the 12-Step Formula to Effective Presentation Construction. 1. Getting their Attention Do something impactful at the start to capture their attention. Personal stories, impactful videos, engaging demonstrations, or asking a question allows you to cature their attention immediately. 2. Develop a relationship Your audience must connect with you before they will listen to you. Stories, engaging activity with them and asking questions that require them to engage are the most effec ways to do this. As an example, Daegan Smith, founder of the Home Business Agency, when he does a webinar, instead of doing it in the webinar room, he has his people go to his Facebook group and has them answer questions on the topics being discussed. 3. Earn the right Your audience is wondering what makes you qualified to share information with them. You must earn the right by sharing your accomplishments and successes with them. Also helpful is how you have been ath the bottom ands risen from the ashes. 4. Clarify their Problem Before anyones going to buy from you they have to be convinced that they have a problem that needs fixing. Its critical that you communicate that you understant their pain. This sets the stage for the balance of your presentation. 5. Show Them a Solution Now that they understand their pain, its important that you show them that you have a solution. They are now looking to you to be their problem solver. This will allow you to have higher sales conversions. 6. Set Clear Expectations Early on in your presentation you want to set the stage for whats coming. First, tell them what youre going to tell them so they are prepared. Then tell them. The remind them of what you told them. 7. Provide Social Proof Third party endorsements are much more impactful in showing the benefits of your products and services than it is by gtelling them. Testimonials, screenshots of ypour bank account, copies of checks or a view into your backend officce are valueable tools to provide social proof. 8. Present the Benefits Features tell but benefits sell. Its very esy to get caught up in telling all about your products features without clarifying the benefits. Theyll never buy. Your audience wants to know how your product is going to help them specifically. People dont want to buy a quarter inch drill, they want a 1/4 inch hole. 9. Provide an irresistable Offer To increase your conversion rates you must provide additional value on top of your offer. Bonuses such as free reports, audios, group coaching calls, software or even products make great ad-ons. 10. Take Away their Risk People dont want to make a purchase theyll regret, so offer them a risk-free guarantee to make it more difficult for them to say no. 11. Give The a REASN to Take Action People need a reason to be forced to take action, either in the form of a deadline or via scarcity. If not, theyll let life and other stuff get in the way and theyll never make the purchace. 12. Provide a clear call to action A good speaker seeds their offereing throughout their presentation so it doesnt come as a shock when its ultimately made.
