Queen Olga of Greece born gd duchess Olga Constantinovna of Russia 1851 daughter of Constantine and Alexandra Josiphovna.She was soo young when she became with her husband prince of Denmark king and queen of Greece that she had in her bedroom in Athens still toys and dolls under their bed...later several of her children married members of the Romanows..Endlessly devoted to her country she came to Russia and worked during the war in hospitals..later at the revolution she couldn t get out of Russia anymore and she and her lady in waiting sometimes got only bread and oil to eat...finally when she was able to leave she was so physicly exhausted that she would never recover totally....she died in 1926 (signed foto given to my family as souvenir of her stay in Russia 1921)
