Queen of the Blue world- Shaheen falcon | Western Ghats of Chikmagalur. Exploring the Rocky Mountains of Western Ghats, on a steep climb, something passed by in a lighting speed and disappeared with Blink of an eye. Went crazy looking out for hours and hours to get a glimpse, there she came again! A bird which is regarded as one of the fastest bird on planet! It was instant mad love for its speed and beauty. It was month of October 2013, Next 3 days crazily spent waiting n watching its air shows and returning back with few happy images. Let me tell you, it is very challenging to shoot a bird like this in flight with my kind of setup. On the same Next month took another 4 days off to Ghats only to come back with burnt skin and with some good bird watching experience. But that did not stop me, more mountains to explore and more chances to see such beauties again. It was pure love that took me next 10 months to wait, watch, and practice and to freeze her when she stooped down just right in front of me, in a lightning speed.
