Queens Park Rangers have made an increased offer for Celtic - TopicsExpress

Queens Park Rangers have made an increased offer for Celtic striker Gary Hooper. The 25-year-old striker has one year left on his current deal at Parkhead and, with no signs of a new contract, it seems Celtic are ready to sell at the right price. Hull City, Norwich and QPR have all made bids this summer but as yet none have been accepted. Now Sky Sports understands that QPR, who are hoping to bounce back to the Premier League at the first time of asking, have gone back with an improved bid. QPR, who have other targets, are optimistic that they are now in pole position and are hopeful they could conclude a deal by this weekend. It is understood that Hooper is ready to play in the Championship with QPR if the deal is right.
