Queensland health is on the brink of collapse. Close to a half of all senior doctors in Qld have signed resignation papers. If you or anyone you know will be affected by this please share this widely and write to your state govt representatives. It is not about pay although the pay is set to drop. It is about the draconian contracts giving us no rights. It is about the govt wanting profitability from a PUBLIC system and about hospital administrators being able to make decisions about treatment based not on best evidence but purely on cost. Right now I am scared to be a Queenslander - who will be next? Nurses, allied health staff, teachers?
