Queries due July 15. *Briarpatch* *Magazine< briarpatchmagazine/> *is seeking submissions for our November/December 2013 WORK and LABOURissue. We are looking for feature articles, essays, investigative reportage, project profiles, interviews, book reviews, humour, artwork, and photography that shed light on all issues related to labour and the struggles of working-class people. In particular, we favour contributions informed by an anti-capitalist and anti-colonial analysis. *Briarpatch* welcomes submissions from new and experienced writers alike. We also invite unions and other organizations who could use this issue of * Briarpatch* as an organizing/educational tool to get in touch to discuss opportunities for shared distribution, bulk issue orders, and possible in-kind exchanges. *Special Note*: This May, a feature article on intern organizing< briarpatchmagazine/articles/view/interns-unite-you-have-nothing-to-lose-literally in our 2012 Work and Labour issue beat out CBC’s *The National* and the *Ottawa Citizen* for a Canadian Association of Journalists award.
