Querquey, Defined Washington State is home to a string of large American enterprises, such as Microsoft, Boeing and Costco. Little wonder then, that Washington State can afford to raise its minimum wage. But what would you say to A NUT (Hi Gary King!) who suggests raising the minimum wage in a piss-pot poor state that survives on federal jobs, with almost no manufacturing to speak of, and which has just been turned down by Tesla Motors BECAUSE the New Mexicans idea of quirky*, in the business context – where minimizing red tape and expediting the remaining tape in as short a time frame as possible is paramount – is called DORKY, or the property of a thousand wannabe Queen/King Tut officials, each asserting her/ his... well, INDIE-DORKINESS, if you will forgive the circularity here! * In Albu-querque, they call it querquey (this is the pronunciation of -querque, enunciated separately), proudly imagining that querquey confers Indie-mindedness, which, while it may well fit a romantic notion of a Billy the Kid, it is of course ANATHEMA to a major enterprise looking to establish a plant or a branch in a business-friendly environment, where it is imperative that the authorities and legislators are all on the same page, at all levels of government, from state to county to city, not standing on ceremony as a means of burnishing ones Indie-mindedness! ! Well, the New Mexico Dem gubernatorial challenger — in the typical DESPERATE style of one who imagines that we can all live off cutting each others hair — is suggesting RAISING New Mexicos minimum wage... making it that less likely that New Mexico will EVER attract a manufacturer of any employment clout! ! ! !
