Question -- especially for Matthew Goodman and Binky Philips (my favorite political pundits on FB): is there a particular reason the Times ran such a fiercely ANTI Bowe Bergdahl piece today, painting him as a friendless weirdo vegetarian lefty who was a mortal liability to U.S. forces long before the controversial prisoner exchange? Since the NYTimes doesnt do anything by accident, and since most of their editorial content seems geared towards making the world safer for Russian Billionaires and spoiled 30-somethings buying one-bedroom apartments in Williamsburgh for 1.8 million dollars, whats the Times game here? Seriously.
