Question 1... for Jessie. My 9 month old wakes between 5-5.30am every morning. Has two 2hour naps during the day 8-10am then 1-3pm bed at 7pm how can I get him to last longer in the morning? Jessie, sounds like your day nap are going great for your little one. When babies transition to two sleeps from 3.. I often suggest bringing their bedtime forward a little bit so they are not going to bed overtired. At nine months your little one can start stretching their wake window to around 3/3.5hours at the most.. so if they are waking from their last nap at 3pm... I would be looking at an earlier bedtime (maybe start with 6.30) A lot of parents think their baby will then wake earlier in the morning. This is usually not the case.. as baby will be going to bed at the optimal time and therefore sleep longer. often an overtired baby will wake in those early hours of the morning. Hope this helps Lisa
