Question: Can anyone tell me the true facts behind imported scooters and registering them when they dont have an import licence. Ive done it the official way with my lammy. But what if: 1) A scooter has been brought over with no paperwork - what is required -what are the costs. 2) A scooter is from the 80s 90s onwards, I believe there is cut of for dates? 79 is it? or am I thinking about indicators? what are the dates for all these issues. 3) It must have a compliance plate/sticker to be able to get rego etc. 4) Ive heard of needing engineers reports etc etc?? 5) What year is the official Vintage date from? 30/25 years old, doe this vary from state to state? any advice would be appreciated.
