REPLY: We encourage you to spoon-feed your MD with a sample letter of justification s/he can fill out and provide your insurance carrier to try to get diagnostic gene sequencing covered. You have 3 appeals with your insurance company to try to get it covered. If that fails, then yes, out of pocket. Best wishes! ---Lori
