Question: How many worship leaders treat their mid-week service - TopicsExpress

Question: How many worship leaders treat their mid-week service the way they treat Sundays? Would the experience, effort and atmosphere be similar? Through out the years Ive found that many treat their mid-week service as if its just a rehearsal or simply put insignificant. Singers dont come consistently, no musicians and the intercessors are working overtime to compensate for the time. Unfortunately Ive found that time of week to be sometimes more important considering its the middle of the work week, people struggle coming to bible class after work and our priorities can be shifted through the mundane things offered by the world. Sundays are important but dont require as much as a mid-week service! Why? *We dont get mail on Sunday (No Bills to irritate you). *Most of us are off work. *We have religiously attended church all of our lives so mentally we come ready to praise. *More People Attend sunday service. *More money and effort is put into Sundays presentation. Im not an enemy of Sundays! Im not the Sunday Hater! But Id like to encourage you if youre NOT ALREADY DOING IT to treat every service the same! If nothing else know that youre singing to an audience of 1 and he comes expecting!
