Question ;) I have a friend that wants to show a 2 year old and they noticed that the caps have not come out yet so it makes the top and bottom teeth not line up perfectly. Maybe a 1/4 to a little more over on the top than the bottom. Would that be considered a fault in the halter ring? In the rule book all I can find it parrot mouth and that says (a) Parrot Mouth - either overshot or undershot, defined by the American Association of Equine Practitioners as “no occlusal contact between the upper and lower central incisors.” Designation effective for foals born on or after January 1, 1992. The tops and bottoms touch just not perfectly until the caps fall out.
