Question: My son wants to go to a Philadelphia flyers game. I am going to take him to one - please without being rude or insensitive to anyone or group - can folks with mature responses tell me if I will have to endure strange looks or racial slurs or be forced to whoop someones @ss if I go to a hockey game. I am asking, is the culture of hockey games, racially insensitive to Black or Latinos? Please, please, please only respectful replies. If you are black or white and have been to a hockey game will I be able to go and be comfortable? My gut tells me HELL YEAH but I want to know the culture and racial climate before purchasing my son these tickets.
