Question: Non-muslims will go to Hell forever. But what happens to those non-muslims who do good deeds? Answer: Allah Most High tells us in the Quran, Whoever seeks a religion other than Islam will never have it accepted from him, and shall be of those who have truly failed in the next life. (Quran 3:85) And, We do not punish until We send a Messenger. (Quran 17:15) Doing good deeds is something which comes after religion. If you are in the correct religion, your good deeds will be accepted and will help you get rewards in Jannat. But if your religion is incorrect, your good deeds will not be accepted and will not help you after your death. When we say incorrect religion, we mean religions other than Islam and sects other then Ahlus Sunnah Wal Jamaah (Sunni)
