Question: Since when do you have to fill ALL of the prescriptions you get at Jay Hospital? For instantance, you get 3 prescriptions. 1 is an antibiotic, 1 is cough syrup and 1 is throat lozenges. You are without insurance, and u really dont need the throat lozenges and the cough syrup. You either have soon at home, or it is so expensive you cant get them. So you go to the pharmacy to get the antibiotics. The pharmacy wont fill just one, they demand you fill all three. You explain you dont have the $$ for the cough syrup/throat lozenges. They say its a Baptist Hospital rule so you go without because you cant afford all three. You really need the antibiotics.....but cant get them by there selves. I have checked with 4 other local pharmacist who say they havent heard that before. Sooooo why is just one Pharmacy saying that?? thoughts????
