Question? What if you were walking inside a store and a young woman wearing dirty clothes approached you asking you could you spare some change? No doubt many of us without hesitating would be quick to reach in pocket or purse to give. Just think of how sick we would initially feel amidst the approaching danger when upon leaving the store we discover we’re now being robbed by two huge men, but that she’s with them, and targeted us on purpose, because she saw what we had, as we realize how we were taken advantage of though our kindness…. However while many can understand this daunting situation, very few can clearly see the Devil from this aspect. In that he is cleaver, always looking for opportunity, wanting what is not his, using all and every method, and violent to get it. Because we hold these truths with such evidence we are on the WATCH, because we value life, of ourselves and others…. “Keep your senses, be watchful. Your adversary, the Devil, walks about like a roaring lion, seeking to devour [someone]. But take your stand against him, solid in the faith, knowing that the same things in the way of sufferings are being accomplished in the entire association of YOUR brothers in the world. But after YOU have suffered a little while, the God of all undeserved kindness, who called YOU to his everlasting glory in union with Christ, will himself finish YOUR training; he will make YOU firm, he will make You strong. To him be the might forever. Amen.”- 1 Peter 5 :8-11.
