Question: Whats happening and why cant people see and respond consciously? People cant see whats going on from the midst of it. Its like trying to fathom the flow of ocean currents, while floating on the surface in the middle of a storm. Everyones worried about staying afloat, instead of seeing where were going. So compassion and community is in order. But stepping out of time and space (meditation, etc) allows us to see the flow, even while were in the middle of it. What is happening is a radical evolutionary shift in consciousness. The build up in the last 300 years is showing us what DOESNT work, how a particular mindset (greed, abuse of people and tribal thought) has created an unsustainable world. And that mindset will create its own destruction. THIS is the storm were in the middle of. Our job is to create a vision, even a blueprint of what MIGHT work, even if were not around to see the finished product. Think of cathedrals that took hundreds of years to build. The people who started them knew that they would not see them done... but began anyway.
