Question: Yo Ref this is Eric from Akron Ohio. Just curious what you think about the new Noah movie? You still thinking it can be used for good? Answer: Eric whats happening? Thanks for hitting me up in private messaging and asking my opinion on this movie. Truth is Im cheap. I have 3 kids and a wife to support and live about 50 miles from the nearest movie theatre, so I havent seen it but I will say this. Hollywood is Hollywood. They get paid and make the big bucks to entertain people. So with that being said, when I do get the chance to watch it, I will be keeping in mind that fact just like I do in a Hollywood action film. As a gun lover I know that a stock looking 9mm doesnt hold 120 rounds... Hollywood however does not know that lol so every action movie released has some dude with the eye of an eagle and an invisible 100 round clip slapped into his pistol, but for the sake of selling tickets and putting butts in seats they also dont care. I can only image that the Noah movie is about 98% Hollywood and 2% biblical accuracy, but see to me personally Im not bothered by that because I expect it, and honestly Im just stoked to see that Noahs real life story is being depicted in one way shape or form to the general public. My reasoning for feeling that way is this..... Paris Hilton will at times pay for the media to follow her. She will hire paparazzi to take photos and shell even put on some sort of show for them in the process to sell stories about through television, paper and radio media. She has mastered the art of bad publicity. Those of us who are at all fans of music or acting know that good publicity and bad publicity work hand in hand. Either way its publicity. Paris Hilton is not an actor nor does she have any reason to be noted as a famous person. She just knows how to work publicity to her advantage. The same goes with the story of Noah. Chalk this Hollywood rendition of Noahs arc up as bad publicity, but none the less Noah and the book that I know as the living word of God himself is receiving mainstream publicity. And for that reason alone I think that this movie is cool and Im sure Ill be entertained by Hollywoods translation of this great story in history. Folks can call it fake, call it blaspheme and call me the same for standing where I stand but at the end of the day the question is what did you learn from this movie? What can you work on or do in order to promote the biblical version of this story? And Whos the enemy? Is it me for having this opinion, is it Hollywood or is it Satan? Good question, and thanks again for the support.
