Question about wood cook stoves. We have never used a wood cook stove before just regular airtight wood stoves for heat. There is simply no way to buy a new wood cook stove as they are waaaay out of our price range BUT there are many older 1920s-1940s stoves around here for sale at a much more reasonable price $100-$300. So my question is being that they would not be airtight would they work to heat as well to cook on? Would they go all night or would I have to get up to reload as we only heat with wood. What should I be looking for if we purchase one? Thanks for your time guys!!
