Question by Matt M: Is it smart to go running after weight lifting? I am a Track Runner/ Football player and we started weight lifting for Football. Is it okay to do sprints afterwards. Will my muscles get smaller after this. I drink like a protein shake, but is it good running after weight lifting? Best answer: Answer by WestCoastin4LifeYes, its ok, the general theory is if you run before weight lifting, then you wont be able to left as much or as long, you muscles fatigue faster, running after lifting weights affects your run also. But its a great way to get fit, combining the 2, I do it at least 3 times a week... What do you think? Answer below!
