Question by Vasiq: A good swimming workout? Hi! So knowing how great an exercise swimming actually is, I have decided to swim as rigorously as I can during my summer break. I am not overweight or anything, but I just want my body to be in a good shape. Im 19, 156 LBS, and 511. I am just an occasional swimmer, so dont know much about this sport. So what would be an effective workout that would specifically suit my body stats- I mean the distance covered each day, the time spent each day, how often in a week should i do it, or different forms and styles. Please elaborate your answer a bit. Thank you for your time. PS: Ive heard swimming helps in reducing man boobs too, so please mention that too in your replies. The best thing to do would be to join a legue or find some people who have swimming experience in swimming and workout with them. As for manboobs running will also get rid of them and that is simple to do on your own. Just as a referance high school teams typically swim 7000-9000 yards in 2.5-3 hours (at least the ones i have had experience with) What do you think? Answer below!
