Question for Lantus users: I currently take 30 units of Lantus at noon each day. The problem is that I dont get the full 24 hours out of it. I go to bed with a perfect number yet wake up anywhere from 190-300. If I take Lantus before bed, I wake up in the 40s and fight to keep it below 200 the rest of the day. Do any of you split your dose? I was curious to see if taking 20u at lunch and 10u at bedtime would be helpful. Thanks!
