Question for people who know their way around cooking. Are you supposed to trim the thin layer of fat that is around the edge of pork chops before you bake? These are a good cut, theres no fat in the pork chop, but I think its odd they were cut and the rim of fat was left. I tried to trim off one, but it didnt work (pulled the meat all apart). If you are to trim, any tips on how to do this? Internet saying different things, including the fat from pork chops is the absolute worst for you. Need to know for tonight. Thank you! (BTW, its white fact, about 1/8 or 1/4 inch all around).
