Question for the forum: Ive seen many dressage riders including dressage legend Heather Blitz (atop the ever stunning Paragon below) competing in not-black boots. Some brown, some navy, and even red boots in the jog. As a mere USDF bronze medalist competing at 3rd level, Im am hesitant to show in my brown boots. I dont want even the slightest bias from judges being a lower level rider competing in flashy boots. What do you all think? Should I keep it classy and ride in my black König boots, or can I break out my fashionable brown boots with black patent uppers?
