Question for the group. I have a dilemma. Last year and again - TopicsExpress

Question for the group. I have a dilemma. Last year and again this year, as I was preparing to spread the word about the benefits of eating unprocessed, my enthusiasm smacked me right in the face. Has anyone else run into difficulty balancing spreading the word about processed foods vs those who have trouble putting food, any food, on the table for their families? It makes me feel terrible. There I was, with my basket full of Organic food when the guy in front of me didnt have enough money to pay for his highly processed, cheap hot dogs and canned spaghetti sauce. There were no chips or sodas in his basket, just the makings of a few cheap meals. (Yes, I finished paying for his highly processed cheap food without opining.) It really took the wind out of my sails. I had planned on coming home and writing about all the wonderful real food I found at reasonable prices and what I was going to prepare with all that great food. Instead I came home and wrote about looking into the face of hunger. Actually, I came home feeling like an elitist and a pious schmuck. Is it just me? I am struggling to integrate the two. Your thoughts, please.
