Question for the masses: CJS Post anonymous pls. Does your communications wear uniforms? If so in light of recent events has there been any changes? My dept we wear uniforms and badges. The badges look like patrol badges and most people think we are police, but obviously we dont have a gun belt. We are in a big city and we do have our fair share of crime and gangs. Im seriously thinking of emailing our chain of command to allow us to wear civilian clothing until further notice. We do have an option of buying a polo without our dept name and logo to wear on weekends but 2 weeks ago we were told we can wear them anytime.
