Question for yall - where should I be posting posters if I want to reach communities beyond my own? Im being a blind doofus brain regarding this, because Im not from here and dont know all the ins and outs of who gets what information where. For example in my home town of Toronto, library bulletin boards and literature tables are used by neighborhood and regional groups to get the word out regarding education, tax workshops, job training, local sports team and clubs and neighborhood literacy, computer literacy and homework tutoring. Theyre full to overflowing. But when I stopped by the City of Birmingham libraries? Not so much. If Im going to reach the over-the-mountain, downtown and avondale folk, I can use coffee and record shop bulletin boards. But where should I be posting tech education stuff if I want to reach some of the city African-American and Hispanic communities? Any advice would be appreciated.
