Question of the Day! Are jets from Black Holes stranger than the super hot solar atmosphere? How do cosmic winds interact with the fields from forming Black Holes? Wouldnt they light up like dust over a laser beam? Answer! The jets do interact with their surroundings. They push the gas around, and are bent by collisions with the gas, and possibly twisted by the rotation of the black hole and the space and field around it. Also, if there is enough dust, the radiation will be scattered by that dust.
