Question to all my Pagan/Wiccan and Witchy friends: why do some people of our community use the word church as a part of their destination as a place of worship and gathering? As far as I know, Church means "pertaining to the Lord" or "house of the Lord" in reverence to Christianity? I am not judging, I am just curious, because I see it often, and wonder considering that Jewish places of worship would not be called a church, neither are the places of our Islamic brothers and sisters.
