Transform Fitness is not just for women; Group Fitness is not just for women, either. These are two huge misconceptions that I myself once held. Not anymore. My wife started attending Transform Fitness in late summer of 2013 and was raving about the classes, the instructors, and the workouts she was getting. After seeing the amount of calories she was burning on her heart rate monitor, and with a little encouragement, I hesitantly attended my first class. I was hooked. All of those misconceptions; gone. I actually look forward to getting up at 4:30 in the morning to go to class and get a good workout in before heading to the office. I feel I have so much more energy throughout the day. Also, the fact that I can work out WITH my wife, spending time together getting healthy and motivating each other, is one of my favorite things about Transform Fitness. After starting with the group fitness classes, my life changed in other ways as well. I have learned about the benefits of clean eating and Shakeology. My wife and I joined a challenge group that Lindy offered, and I learned how crucial it is to fuel my body with the right foods. It has completely changed how I feel and I now know that I don’t need to “diet” to lose weight. Thanks to the combination of the workout classes and the clean-eating, I am in the best shape that I have been in since playing college football. I feel better about myself and have more energy than ever. Thank you Transform Fitness for getting me started, and keeping me on track, on my journey to living the healthiest life I can.
