Questions of Life HOW CAN I GET THERE? If you had to travel from Ghana to Australia, there are many means of transportation one can explore. Vehicle, airplane, bicycle, motor, and more could be explored as means of getting there. But anyone sitting around a strategy table will ask himself which of these means above will deliver timely and trusted results. What I am simply saying is that your destination determines your strategy. If I am travelling within Ghana’s capital of Accra, I will not sweat about exploring train and plane. It is possible to be done with motor or car. If you answered yesterday’s question of ‘where am I going?’ you can figure out the strategy to get there. It is somehow easier to answer all the questions thus far but difficult to answer this particular one. Strategy requires thinking and planning. I don’t know how you want to get there but I can throw in some tips I have been using. One way to develop strategy is to ask: who has done it before? You don’t have to reinvent the wheel. You can borrow from other people who have been where you want to go and use how they got there. Read about people and their works.
