Questions to ask a Legal Document Preparer before you hire: Are they registered & bonded? Ask to see their card. Are they also a certified paralegal? A certificate from an ABA approved paralegal program is the best. Do they regularly work with Attorneys as a paralegal still? Where do most of their clients come from? Former client & attorneys referrals are a good sign. Can they simply explain the process youre hiring them for so you understand it? Can you think of other good questions? #LDA #paralegal
