Quick 9miler done, ruined by off-lead dog owners. I am polite - morning, working dogs coming, keep your dogs under control please...often followed by, as I stop, for safety, please control your dogs...and then your dog wont like it if he gets caught in the lines Now, then if someone starts having a go at me, calls me a twat and a moron like today, dont expect me to be polite. Like today you can expect me to give some choice words, contact the dog warden (she knows all about me and my dogs) and check the laws of the land, that sit above anyones opinion. Apparently the lady at 4 Kenilworth Road in Fleet has heard all about me. You and your working dogs - a friend said you ran right over her dog. Hmm. I wonder how that dog could have got beneath our feet/paws? Especially if, as here, I stop and ask for dogs to be controlled? Oh! That would be one of the times when dogs shoot out of the undergrowth into us... I wonder why I ask people to control their dogs? I have no trouble with owners who try and cant control their dogs - at least they understand. If anyone knows the golden retriever lady at 4 Kenilworth Road, who has other dogs too, and was walking with the ignorant GSD owner, please tell her to get in touch with the Dog Warden. Perhaps this muppet will listen to the Dog Warden. If you cant keep your dog under control - or at least be willing to try - dont let it off... (Run in areas without dogs? I got attacked on the Brecon Beacons, everywhere has dogs. I usually go out at 7am yet when doing long runs, or waiting for the weather like today, I come across other dogs. Wear tops saying working dogs? There is no mistaking I am working my dogs - I even shout it out as a warning. We all have the right to exercise our dogs - safely.)
