Quick! Coupla okra recipes for when you have a ton of the little green things piling up in your fridge and you dont have time to pickle and you ran out of freezer bags: 1. Chopped okra + about 2 tbsp coconut oil + aleppo pepper + curry + sea salt. Stir fast and furiously over very hot flame so it starts to get brown. Once the oils all dried up, dump in small can of plain tomato sauce, turn heat to low, cover and stew for 20 minutes. Freeze in container. Eat it later. 2. Chopped okra + handful of cashews + 1 tbsp olive oil + aleppo pepper + comino. Stir to coat over med high heat, then cover and cook on low for 10 minutes. Eat it now.
