Quick SDCC wrap, now that Im half-awake. We had another very successful show - profit was made and we ended up just shy of our all-time sales record. (2014 was our 2nd best show ever.) While we were hoping for more (and need more sales now that The Crow supporting our entire family), we certainly cannot complain with many others not making a profit at all - or losing money. (See Mile High Comics, sadly.) The show was a lot of fun for us; we again met a lot of people excited with what we were doing, and I heard the greatest words a few times too: This is our favorite booth of SDCC. Which of course is humbling beyond all get-out. An epic-huge thanks to our SDCC Steam Crew: Dawnas sister Sara Franz, our loyal print-pusher Andrew Bynaker, and calm-rocker Barney Firks - these folks helped us keep this bird-beast rolling and provided ample laughs to keep darkness at bay. Of course, we have to thank the foundation of our success - YOU who dropped by and picked up some of our goods, or brought us a bin full of cookies. (Brit Cossel) THANK YOU!
