Quick facts about the Gypsy Fair vehicles.....this week - Mels & Jonas bus BEDFORD J4 - 1964 Originally came out with a 214 Petrol. Now powered by Izusu 6BD1, not before putting in a 220 diesel, followed by a 330 diesel!!! (thats Bedfords for ya!!) Originally on the Mt Cook school bus run, being inland for so many years possibly saved this buses life! Converted into a home back in 2002, with many changes throughout this time, including molicroft, pop out, loft etc. Has been in its current state since 2011, with the last addition being the upstairs deck. Inside includes a Queen Loft, kids bedroom, dining table in pop out, couch, kitchen, shower/toilet, fire place, & best of all the upstairs deck!!! The 3rd bedroom (teenagers den!!) is a 1966 Jackson Cub Caravan Designed to be towed by The Mini 96 long Was converted into a bedroom, roof lifted etc in 2011. These guys have been traveling with The Gypsy Fair for 11 years.
