Quick limit today. Fishing is so off the charts right now in Delacroix that it took me and my old buddy, Ricky Hunt, about 40 minutes to catch our two man limit of 50 trout this morning. We fished plastic shrimp 18-24 under corks and got an instant hit on just about every cast. The fish are staging in the mouths of bayous and passes that empty into a larger water body. Its as simple as it gets right now. Anchor up, cast out, and reel in a fish. The fish are literally everywhere right now. Hopefully the weather will allow me to sneak in a quick trip tomorrow. We shall see.
