Quick message to my non-Brazilian friends who enjoy watching soccer: Today the Fifa World Cup is supposed to start and I would like to share a thought not only on my behalf but on a lot of other Brazilians as well. It was a real mistake for this Organization to have chosen our country to be the host due to the number of problems that we have, which Im not going to go deep into them in this post, you can search for more informations in case you wish. Anyway, I think that the purpose of this event is to bring healthy entertainment for everyone. Nevertheless, our government led our country into chaos ever since the constructions for improving the infrastructure started in 2010. Essentially, Brazil is now a mess and I guess what all the citizens have left to say to you foreigners is I am sorry. Personally, I dont live there at the moment but I do know that my people are ashamed, frustrated and tired. Just thought I should let you know. Un rápido mensaje a mis amigos que no son brasileños y que les gustan el fútbol: Hoy el mundial de la Fifa supuestamente va a empezar y yo quería compartir un pensamiento no solo en mi nombre, sino en el de muchos otros brasileños. Fue un error de parte de la Organización haber elegido nuestro país como sede debido los problemas que tenemos, en los cuales no voy a entrar en detalles, ustedes pueden buscar más informaciones caso deseen. Bueno, yo pienso que el propósito de ese evento es traer entretenimiento saludable a todos. Sin embargo, nuestro gobierno ha llevado nuestro país al caos desde cuando las construcciones para mejorar la infraestructura empezaron en 2010. Esencialmente, Brasil está un revoltijo y creo que todo lo que nos resta decir a ustedes extranjeros es Perdón. Personalmente, yo no vivo allá en el momento pero sé que mi pueblo está con vergüenza, frustrado y cansado. Sólo pensé que tendría que decirles esto.
