Quick mid-day snack and trying to keep sodium levels down today! Had homemade pasta (lots of sauce)while visiting family over weekend and I brought some of it home with me. I have been eating on it all week(had some earlier) so cant afford to eat a high sodium meal again knowing I will get my fill of sodium(the 2000mg limit) tonight when I get home and eat more pasta. Many know I had high blood pressure a few yrs ago and kicked it without pills but I did it just by learning about HBP and many of the causes. I learned BALANCE with my diet and learned what my body can and cant handle. I went from 8k mg of sodium a day (3 or more Hungry man TV dinners and my exs salty home cooking)to now under 2k a day! It wasnt McDonalds that got me sick but how I ate my food(stop blaming the food)! I still eat fast food and I bet I am now as healthy or healthier than any trainer u have that is telling u it cant be done! Once u learn to add balance to ur diet u will be surprised how easy staying or getting healthy can be! Its not all about kale chips ,juicers diets or Organic like many health nuts want u to believe. I would NEVER get to a health stage where I have to turn down grandmas homemade pasta to stay healthy! These health nuts want u to believe u have cut it ALL out in order to be healthy like them and that is so not true!
