Quick post after Cootamundra Classic weekend, full results not out yet on Cycling NSW, day 1 100km handicap was a tough day with a Dubbo rider from the block bunch taking victory, scratch unable to get through the field but still Ayden Toovey was able to record and win the fastest time, team mate Jordan Payne finishing close behind, Joel Burke started in bunch 4 which was caught and dismantled by block with around 15k to go, Joel finishing with the remains of his bunch a few minutes back, Dave Jens Payne had a tough day in the office and saved his legs for the Sunday race....... a 70km handicap which he came 4th overall in a great comeback ride a disappointing start to the weekend. . Well done to Dave! The boys reported that scratch didnt catch the early markers but Ayden and Jordans NSWIS teamate Harry Carter took fastest time, Joel Burke only raced saturday. .
