Quick question regarding the clean filter light on a 1-HDT... Mine was coming on over about 2,200rpm fairly constantly and coincided with a tailing off slightly in power delivery. Filter is fine, traced the fault to a split in the sensor hose and fixored it... Ive noticed that its much happier, smoother and no tapering of power delivery at the same rpm/throttle input. Does this sensor affect anything like boost or fuel as a protective measure or does it just warn you of dirty filters? It just seems much better all round, and the only other change is I filled it with BP Ultimate as opposed to Shell Optimax, so perhaps better diesel...
