Quick reviews - Guardians of the Galaxy gets a thumbs up. Fumbles a bit on the exposition-heavy first act, villains a bit under developed, but otherwise great fun and (unlike other Marvel films) the third act is the strongest. Those worried the trailers are a bit campy or self-aware, dont be. Theres a lot of gags but theyre all character based. The Firefly meets Star Wars comparisons are apt. Best thing to say about Hercules? Couldve been worse. It thankfully knows what kind of movie it is and doesnt pretend to be anything else but it is terribly scripted. I like the sidekicks, and theres the odd moments of fun ridiculousness from Joseph Fiennes ringlets to a horse tossing scene to a fight with a bunch of coked up Prodigy fans that its not a total loss. Even so, its very skippable.
