Quick thanks to everyone who assisted in todays fun: Elders Jason Liddic (Clubs) Jacque Blake (Spades) Eric Hoffman (Diamonds) Carolyn Coss (Hearts) Brett Haskell (Hades) and Orly who I dont know his real name :) (Hades) Thanks to the volunteers who played the Rulers of the suits: Ianje Fyxe Castellanos (Hearts) Justin Willoughby (Spades) Lanham Jason Lanham (Diamonds) Jessica Cooke (Clubs)- subbed in for John Harvey as well as their chosen Queens/Kings, and the random face card players of the game. I will be doing some tweaking to the face cards for next year as well as maybe running 2 Hades. In 4th Place were the Clubs, with 57 pts In 3rd place were the Diamonds, with 82 pts In 2nd place were the Spades with 103pts And in 1st place were the Hearts with 131pts After round 1, it was close with Clubs and Spades in the lead. The gaps closed in round 2 and Hearts had a whopping 38 face card kills to propel them in round 3. I will have Get out of Hades Free cards for every member of Team Hearts. You should have given your names to your elder before the battle. I will make a list, and give them out Friday at Harvest War. If you forgot to put your name on your team sheet or your elder was slacking, find me. I will be at Elidor, Black Watch, or Hades sometime after 1pm. There were several individuals cited for superior role play.These players will receive 1 potion or scroll of their choice OR a get out of Hades free card. Unfortunately I cant do anything about people not playing mages, though clubs DID have 2, and you see what place they came in.... The teams seemed pretty even up with no one getting curb stomped. Hearts and Spades teamed up. Clubs and Diamonds not so much. Next time I may allow 5 min efore fight to barter deals.
