Quick tut. This is a painting I am working on of a tree growing in a field near where I live. I make use of the layers feature in Procreate extensively. The problem with that is that oftentimes, in fussing with one layer, I end up painting on another layer I do not want to paint on. Painting on the wrong layer is a relatively simple thing to do when you dont remember to ALPHA LOCK the layers you dont want to paint on. To alpha lock a layer and to prevent yourself from accidentally painting on it, simply swipe the layer from left to right. Youll know the alpha lack is activated when the four corners of the image preview of the layer you locked are highlighted in white. Procreate, the Adonit Jot Touch with PixelPoint, and the iPad Air.
